Two sisters carry on the family history

“You know, we simply want to do it well and leave this winery better for the next generation than it is now.” We are sitting with Maria on the terrace of the manor house, with various wines produced by Luisa in front of us, and the vineyards of Vieira de Sousa in the background.

Even though Maria said this rather casually, it is characteristic of this family and their winemaking. Full of love and passion, but also humility and gratitude for the family tradition, which the two sisters are now carrying on into the fifth generation.
