The Vieira de Sousa Red Reserve is made from grapes grown in a unique vineyard at Quinta da Agua Alta, near the Douro River. This vineyard is situated in a cool, east-facing valley. Its proximity to the Douro River makes it perfect for producing balanced and fresh wines.
It has been aged in French oak barrels just long enough to give it structure without overpowering its elegance and fruit.
With notes of clove spice, floral aromas and black fruits, it is a rich, full-bodied wine that nevertheless does not lack freshness.
Aging: 12 months in barrique
